Born in Madison Co TN on Nov. 3, 1899. Of Scotch-English descent. His parents are R.M.K. Johnson and Martha Williams. His paternal grandparents are Rubin Johnson & Suza May Johnson. Maternal grandparents WilliamJ. Williams and SUsan George. Finished public schools of Madison Co; Union University and Member of Cumberland University, LLB, 1935. Presbyterian; Democrat; American Legion. He was a Medical Dr. Was elected Circuit Judge in 1934, being at that time the youngest judge in the state. He was County Judge of Madison Co. from 1932 - 34. He served in the State Legislture from Madison Co. in 1927. Very conscientious in all of his official acts and has made a splendid record in each capacity in which he has served.
