Hugh Bandy Hugh Bandy, well-known this area as a meat market manager for many years died Sunday in Bradley Memorial Hospital after an illness of several months. A resident of Turtletown, he was 73. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hazel Hensley Bandy; three sons, Max Bandy of Route 1, Turtletown; Kenneth Bandy of Benton; Jim Bandy of Lilburn; two sisters, Mrs. Charity Smith of Ellijay and Mrs. Myrtle Montgomery of Postelle. Mr. Bandy was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church where funeral services were conducted by the Revs. Arthur Dale, Ernest Arms and Johnny Walker Wednesday at 2 p.m. Pallbearers were Leon Taylor, Lowell Taylor, Bobby Hensley, Raymond Montgomery, Mark Taylor and Jackie Montgomery. Interment was in the church cemetery under direction of Finch Funeral Home.
