Mrs. Lola Banah Roper

Mrs. Lola Banah Roper died Jan. 30 at Fannin Nursing Home after a long illness. Widow of Everett Roper, she was 73.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Wood of Duluth, GA.; Mrs. Wylene Burgess of Ellijay and Mrs. Lola Johnson of Blue Ridge; three sons; Coy and Troy Roper of Acworth; Jackie Roper of Cherry Log; a brother, Jerry Chastain of Marietta; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Hall and Mrs. Gracy Ray of Atlanta; Mrs. Dorothy Crowe of Marietta; 30 grandchildren.

Mrs. Roper was a member of Toccoa Baptist Church where funeral services were conducted by the Revs. Bo Davis and Doug Heaton Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. Interment was in the church cemetery under direction of Akins Funeral Home.
