Copperhill City Advance; Feb. 14, 1938 Mrs. Fred Bandy Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Bandy, 41, member of a prominent Fannin County family, who died Wednesday afternoon, at her home, after a long illness, were held Friday morning at Camp Ground Church in Cherokee County, N. C. with Rev. Org Foster officiating. A life long resident of this section, she had been a member of the Baptist Church for 35 years. Surviving are her husband, two sons, and two daughters [she actually had three daughters], all of the mobile section. J. P. Chastain had charge of funeral arrangements. A personal note about Mrs. Fred Bandy, her name was Lura Bandy and she is Buried at Flax Creek Cemetery on Sunny Point Road, Cherokee County, N. C.
