Thomas Jefferson Wear and Mary Crowsen)

Walter and Rhote lived in Wears Valley at Waldens
Creek on the land she inherited from her mother, Mary
Crowsen Wear. The first seven children of Walter and
Rhote were born at their Henderson Springs Farm. They
later sold the land and lived at Knob Creek in Seymour
and also South Knoxville.
