Mr and Mrs C W Aman, Garden Drive spent the weekend in Birmingham Ala. where they were guests of relatives. They attended the U.T. - Alabama football game there Saturday.
Mr and Mrs Bovard Gillespie and son Billie, Mrs E G Gillespie, Mr and Mrs Harvey Grace were recent visitors at Norris Dam, the Smokey Mountains and Knoxville.
Sammy Rowland, young son of Mr and Mrs Vernon Rowland, Indian Springs, underwent an operation last week at Kings Mountain Memorial Hospital in Bristol.

Gerald Lisenby of Kingsport is a patient at the Holston Valley Community hospital.
Mr and Mrs B J Cronk and son leland, Waverly Road, have returned from a vacation with relatives and friends in Chicago Illinios, points in Indiana and Michigan. They were accompanied home by Mrs C C Van Hespen of Chicago, who will be their house guest for a week.
Mrs J C Clark of Rochester NY has arrived for an indefinite visit with her daughter, Mrs C Wheeler Bishop and Mr Bishop, Waverly Road.
Mr and Mrs R S Argabright of Roanoke Va are the guests of their son W S Argabright and family at their home on Waverly Road.
Mrs J H Patrick and children, Paul, Mary Ann and Shelby, visited Mr and Mrs S D Hartsock last weekend.

Mrs Jimmie Dobson and daughter Emily, Mrs Dale Marion and son Tony left thursday for Nashville and other points in Middle Tennessee for a weeks visit with relatives and friends.
Miss Frances Miller of Shenandoah Va youngs people church worker of Virginia Synod of the United Luthern Church was the guest of the Rev and Mrs J W Shuey this week and met with the Holy Trinity Luthern League Tuesday evening.
Mr and Mrs James Parsley and son Terry, Waverly Road are spending this week in Erwin visiting their parents.
Miss Bea Parks, daughter of Mr and Mrs Lester parks enrolled in the business department of Marion College, Marion Va is a member of the college choir which is quite active in that community.

Visitors - Nickelsville, Va.--- Mr and Mrs J.L. Price of Lenior City Tenn., have been recent visitors in the home of Mrs. prices brother George Price, and Mrs. Price of Nickelsville.
