Big Gathering of Masons At Piney Flats
Piney Flats, in this county, will be the scene of a big Masonic meeting on next Saturday, June 24th.
It is expected that men prominent in the craft will be present from several counties in this end of the state,
and the attendance is destined to be large from Sullivan and from Washington counties. The principal address will
be delivered by Dr. J. M. Crowe, of the Munscy Memorial Methodist Church, in Johnson City, B. L. Ford will deliver
the address of welcome, while A. Gray Gilmer, of Bristol will make response.
Mrs. Mary E. Reeves, grand secretary of the Order of the Eastern Star, will deliver an address on that branch of
Masonry. The program will be interspersed with music and will be concluded at night with the presentation of a
drama.
