March 8 1938 - Rifle Wound Proves Fatal
San Antonio, Texas Aug 29 1938
Clyde Davee age 17, telegraph messenger boy, died Monday of a wound inflicted accidentally Aug. 22 with a rifle in the hands of another boy. The youth was a son of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Davee

The San Antonio Ledger and Texan September 1, 1860 Died at her residence in San Antonio, on Tuesday the 28th inst., in her 46th year, Mrs. E. A. Sappington, widow of the late Dr. Sappington of Memphis, Tennessee. The illness of which she died was sudden, brief and painful, but it was borne with the calm hope and resignation of one who believe the implicitly in the merits and mercy of the Redeemer. Mrs. Sappington moved from Tennessee to San Antonio about six years ago, and soon formed around her a large circle of friends and acquaintances, by all of whom her death is greatly deplored. By her kindness and amiability of character she gained the esteem of all who knew her. She was a sincere member of the Episcopal Church, and assisted with her means in materially forwarding the objects of that church in this city. Besides the many friends who lament her early death, she leaves behind her a large family and their loss is indeed irreparable. (Long eulogy continues with no further names mentioned submitted by Dena Whitesell).
