April 25- The eleven year old child of C.S. Solomon, a justice of the peace,
was burned to death while sleeping yesterday morning. The child's mother and
father after making a fire in the house, had gone out.

Mrs. W.A. Edwards, wife of a farmer living four miles south of town, died
Sunday after a lingering illness aged 50 years. She was an old settler of

Mrs. Fannie Massey, wife of J.R. Massey, died here Saturday, aged about 60
years. The interment took place yesterday afternoon. The deceased for forty
years had been a member of the Primitive Baptist Church

Aug. 22 - A telegram received by friends here today announced the death at
Kerrville last night of William Burris, a former well-known resident of
Denton. The interment will take place tomorrow morning.
Aug. 24- Robert T. Beale, one of the pioneer settlers of Denton county and a
prominent citizen of the Little Elm community, in which he lived, died at
Chico. Wise county, Sunday aged 68 years.
