Ibarra
Joe Angel Ibarra
Odessa Joe Angel Ibarra, an infant, of
Odessa, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at
Odessa Regional Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m.
Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with
the Rev. Mark Miller officiating.
Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial
Gardens.
He was born in Odessa.
Survivors Father, Jose Ibarra of Odessa;
mother, Adonica Vargas of Odessa, two
brothers; two sisters; grandparents,
Gina Guzman of Odessa, and Jose and
Marie Ibarra of Odessa.
Imler
Sherman Imler
Odessa Sherman Imler, 71, of Odessa,
died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, at Medical
Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Sunset
Memorial Funeral Home.
Iness
Services for Rose Gordon Iness, 70, of
East Wood Avenue, Carlsbad, will be held
at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 20, at
Denton-Funchess Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens
Memorial Park. Pastor Brad Reimers of
Blodgett Street Baptist Church will
officiate.
Iness passed away Sunday at her home in
Carlsbad. She will lie in state from
noon to 9 p.m. Thursday at Denton-Funchess
Funeral Home.
Iness was born Sept. 23 to John Brown
Gordon and Evadne J. Hathaway Gordon in
Pioneer, Texas. The family moved to
Grand Falls, Texas, where Iness resided
for approximately 40 years.
She married Walter Iness in Fort
Stockton, Texas, Aug. 14, 1947. They
owned a grocery store in Grand Falls for
several years. In 1972 she moved to
Odessa, Texas, where she was in the
grocery business. She also worked at
various other grocery related jobs,
working for Albertson's for 11 years and
7-11 for approximately 11 years. She was
of Baptist faith, enjoyed painting and
sewing and was a phenomenal seamstress.
She moved to Carlsbad in 1998. She was
preceded in death by her husband in 1993
and by a sister, Johnnie Maxey of
Odessa.
Survivors include: one son, Cary Iness
of Odessa, Texas; one daughter, Rose
Boatman of Carlsbad; 6 grandchildren;
and 12 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Ingram
Jack W. Ingram, Jr, 57,
passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, in
Odessa.
Jack was born Oct. 25, 1946 in Oklahoma
City, Okla. to Jack W. Sr. and Mildred
Mozzane Ingram. He moved to Odessa at
age 16 and graduated from Permian High
School. He owned and operated Jacks
Engine and Field Service,? before going
to work for Patterson U.T.I. where he
retired from.
Mr. Ingram was a member of AF&AM
Masonic Lodge No. 1385 and a Shriner. He
was preceded in death by his wife
Dolores in 1998 and his parents.
Mr. Ingram is survived by one son, Jack
W. Ingram of Odessa, one daughter, Renee
Ingram of Odessa, one brother, Richard
Ingram of Alice; and one sister, Debbie
Byrd of Florene, La.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m.
Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at Sunset
Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Betty Ives
ODESSA ? Betty Sue Ives, 64, of San
Angelo, a retired licensed vocational
nurse, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at
San Angelo Community Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m.
Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with
the Rev. Charles Tapley officiating.
Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial
Funeral Home.
She was born in Rising Star.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Avis Ives of Odessa;
brothers, James W. Ives and LeRoy Ives,
both of Farmington, N.M., and Jerry R.
Ives of Odessa; and sisters, Penny Hite
and Sandra Brumit, both of Odessa, and
Henry Beth Myers of Alvin.
