PECOS Ramon Ornelas, 55, of Pecos, a
Pecos police officer, died Friday, June
10, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital in
Odessa.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at
Pecos Funeral Chapel. Mass will be
celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at Santa
Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will follow
at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born in Monahans and was a
lifelong resident of Pecos. He was
Catholic. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
SURVIVORS Wife, Felipa Ornelas of Pecos;
sons, Raymond Ornelas and Jeremy Ornelas,
both of Odessa, Joseph Ornelas and Jacob
Ornelas, both of Dallas, and Jason
Ornelas and Michael Ornelas, both of
Pecos; daughter, Crystal Ornelas of
Pecos; brothers, Jose Angel Ornelas of
Odessa, and Jimmy Ornelas and Antonio
Ornelas, both of Pecos; sister, Manuela
Armendariz of Odessa; and two
grandchildren.

a city worker, died Sunday, Sept. 2,
2007, at the Hospice House in Odessa.
Services will be at noon at Santa Rosa
Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard
Waiwood officiating. Rosary will be at 7
p.m. Tuesday at Pecos Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood
Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sunset
Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Vado De Piedra, Mexico.
Survivors Sons, Manuel J. Orona of
Odessa and Benito J. Orona Jr. of
Washington, D.C.; daughters; Lily O.
Villaneva of Pecos, Elva Sanchez of
Odessa, Irma O. Rodriguez of Pecos and
