Yarbrough
Helena L. Yarbrough, age 81, of San
Antonio, Texas, died Wednesday, May 12,
2004.
Known as Granny to her grandchildren and
to others who loved her as Aunt TO.
She will be greatly missed by all those
who loved her and called her friend. She
was preceded in death by her husband,
Thomas H. Yarbrough Jr.
Survivors: sons, Thomas H. Yarbrough III
and his wife, Joyce, Walter E. Yarbrough
and Patrick F. Yarbrough and wife,
Laura; grandchildren, Thomas G., James
A., Pamela A., Kathleen M., and
Elizabeth G. Yarbrough.
Visitation will be on Monday from 3 p.m.
to 5 p.m. at Porter Loring.
Memorial services are scheduled for 4
p.m. Monday at Porter Loring Chapel with
the Rev. Jack Bush officiating.

John Yates
MONAHANS ? John Marshall Yates, 69, of
Monahans, an antiques dealer, died
Monday, April 26, 2004, at Monahans
Managed Care Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at
the Monahans Memorial Cemetery Pavilion
with the Rev. Jeff Box officiating.
Burial will be at Monahans Memorial
Cemetery. Arrangements are by Family
Funeral Services/ Jackie Harkey.
He was born in Abilene.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Rebecca Jean Cemper
of Paige, Neb.; sister, Winifred Waller
of Albany; and two grandchildren.

Richard Dicky R. Ybarra
ODESSA Richard Dicky R. Ybarra,
50, of Odessa, passed away Thursday,
July 29, 2004, at Northwest Texas
Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.
He was born Aug. 22, 1953, in Odessa, to
Gabriel Jr. and Candida Ybarra. He
married Maria C. Zamora April 3, 1999,
here in Odessa, He worked in the
oilfield industry as a welder and was a
Christian Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Gabriel Ybarra Jr.
Mr. Ybarra is survived by his wife,
Maria C Ybarra of Crane; mother, Candy
R. Ybarra of El Paso; daughter, Candy
Ybarra Gutierrez and husband Joe of
Odessa; brothers, George Ybarra of
Plano, Mike Ybarra of Odessa, Jesse
Ybarra of Odessa and Jerry Ybarra of El
Paso; sister, Grace Ybarra of Arlington;
two grandchildren, Gabriella and Abigail
Gutierrez of Odessa; and several nieces,
nephews, cousins and lots of Friends.
Pallbearers will be his brothers,
son-in-law and Joe Ybarra, his nephew.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today
at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will
be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2,
2004, at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church
with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating.
Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
