It has been found that so many folks were missed on the big general census that was taken by the Junior Chamber of Commerce some weeks ago that it is necessary to retake the cenus of the entire City. In the first check more than 52  people were registered, not including 60 residence where there was no one at home and, as has been since reported, several blocks were missed by the census takers before. With 35men, new at the game ans in a hurry, many mistakes were naturally made and it is believed to be of so much importance that a correct census will be made of the city at this time. ans the Junior Chamber of Commerce had hired one man, under contract to complete the entire census and he is to be paid when the Secretary has investigated in every section of the city and found that none has been missed. There are only four questions being asked this time. Your name, house and street number, number in family, and rommers, boarders or servants. [Source: The Lubbock Avalanche 13 Jan 1922.
