Brazos County was a part of Stephen F. Austin's second colony in the late 1820's. It was created in 1841 from Robertson and Washington counties and named Navasota, then renamed in 1842 as Brazos for the Brazos River. It's county seat is Bryan.
Our goal is to help you track your ancestors through time by transcribing genealogical and historical data and placing it online for the free use of all researchers.
We regret that we are unable to perform personal research
