Death of Mrs. D.W. Gott

Mrs. D.W. Gott died after a lingering illness at her home between Mesquite and Garland, Tuesday morning. Mrs. Gott was a sister to Mrssrs I.N. and J.N. Range and formerly resided with her husband about a mile and a quarter northwest of mesquite on the place now owned by G.W. Dickson. She was a devoted member of the Baptist Church and was a good woman. She is survived by her husband and three children. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C.L. Bounds and interment took place in the Mesquite Cemetery Wednesday afternoon. The bereaved family and relatives have the sympathy of all.

NOTE: I would like to receive information of Mrs. Gott's full name. There is a Julie A Gott who is buried at the Mesquite Cemetery. Her tombstone reads that she is the wife of D W Gott, but her death date is listed as 24 Jul. 1906. Based on the 1906, the 24th is a Tuesday, but the obituary date is August 10th (a Friday) would indicate that the funeral was August 8 (two weeks later). Charlie Vines - Dallas County, Texas host.
