Obituary for Barbara J. Harwood Groves Morgan

Barbara J. Morgan, 62, of Astoria, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at the Astoria Healthcare Center.
She was born Feb. 5, 1938, in Winter, Texas, the daughter of Walton A. and Bertha L. (Fuller) Harwood. She married John W. Groves, Jr., on Feb. 27, 1956, in Comanche, Texas. She then married Paul D. Morgan on April 12, 1974, in Dodge City, Kan. He preceded her in death, along with one daughter Aubrey and one brother, J.C.
Surviving are one son, Johnny (wife Mary) Groves of Astoria one daughter, Barbara Leann Groves of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a line worker for Texas Instruments for nine years.
Services were Friday, Oct. 27, at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Gary Schultz officiating. Burial was Tuesday at Eula Cemetery in Eula, Texas.  Memorials may be made to the Spoon River Hospice Association.
