| Mr.
J.A. Wells, of Atascosa County Texas, formerly a citizen of Ouachita,
has been on a visit to his old friends and neighbors of this
parish. We are pleased to hear that Mr. Wells is satisfied with
his new home. Mr. Aleck Myatt informed us that he would accompany
Mr. Wells on his return, and would probably settle permanently in the
