Floresville, Texas, April 16. -- Dr. Dryden died on Friday, the 13th instant, while on his way from San Antonio to his home in Floresville. He
had been sick for more than three months and convalescent but a short time. He was buried in the cemetery here on the following day,
being followed to his last resting place by many warm friends, who held the highest respect and confidence for him, Professor Lopas officiating
at the grave.

Fall From Horse Fatal
Funeral services for Willie Ludecke, 11 years of age, who died late Friday at a hospital from injuries received when he was thrown from a horse
near his home in Floresville, will be held Saturday at the family residence in Floresville. The boy's father is Jhon Ludecke, a butcher of Floresville.
Willie with a companion, John Craighead, was riding a horse near the former's home. They fell together. Willie received a basal skull fracture.

Walter Gilbert Nichols, 38 years old, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of his niece, Mrs. Troy Spivey, near Lavernia; following an attack of
heart failure. Mr.Gilbert was well known in San Antonio, having been a frequent visitor here. He was the son of pioneer residents of Wilson
county and was born and reared there, where he was a farmer. Mr. Nichols is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Crow of San Antonio and
Mrs. C. A. Rideout of Macdona, and three brothers, C. E. Nichols of San Benito and L. E. Nichols and J. N. Nichols of Nixon. The funeral will
be held in Lavernia Thursday.

Staudt Funeral at Floresville
Remains of Mrs. Minnie Staudt, aged 38, wife of C. A. Staudt of Floresville, will be sent to Floresville Tuesday for burial. Mrs. Staudt died at a local
hospital Monday. she is survived by her husband, a daughter, Madaline, and numerous other relatives.

Mrs. Mary Svoboda,
36 years old, died last night at the physicians' and surgeons' hospital
as a result of an attack of cerebral meningitis. She was
brought
to San Antonio five days before in the hope of recovery. The body
was taken today to Floresville, her former home, for burial.

L. B. Wiseman
Floresville
-- Funeral services for L. B. Wiseman, prominent Floresville attorney,
who died at his home Sunday, are scheduled for this afternoon.
The
Rev. Roland Murray, pastor of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of
Corpus Christi, is to officiate and burial is to be in Floresville
Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, three sisters and four brothers.
