Kenneth Ray Berry, 61, passed away Friday, March 28, 2008, in Wichita
Falls, Texas. Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008,
at Grace Church with Tom Rodgers officiating. Burial will be in
Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas, under the direction of Lunn's
Colonial Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born July 16, 1946, in Jericho Springs, Mo., to Emma Mae
Asbell Berry and Armond Lewis Berry. He served his country in the U.S. Air
Force. On Nov. 16, 1980, he married Debra Sue Bryant in Wichita
Falls, Texas. Kenneth worked as a conductor for Burlington Northern
Santa Fe Railroad, retiring after working for over 20 years.
Kenneth was a hard working man who always found time to help anyone who
needed it. He was always lending a helping hand in his neighborhood.
Kenneth loved dogs and horses. But most of all, Kenneth was a dedicated
husband, father, and grandfather, who loved his family very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Clifford Berry, and
one granddaughter, Emily Grace Pierce.
Survivors include his wife Debbie Berry of Wichita Falls, daughter, Kendra
Pierce and her husband Jeff of Vernon, daughter, Alicia Rae Berry of
Vernon, son, Coyt Ray Berry of Wichita Falls, and daughter, Kloe Hope
Berry of Wichita Falls, four grandchildren, Garrett and Gavin
Pierce, Keyton Berry and Kayli Gates, six brothers and sisters,
Wilma Schaal of Cripple Creek, Colo., Carolyn Snodgrass and her
husband Jim of San Antonio, Texas, Charles Berry and his wife Nancy of
Carthage, Mo., Gordon Berry and his wife Mary also of Carthage, Dale Berry
of Dayton, Ohio, and Vicky Arafiles of Hauki, Maui, Hawaii, one
step-sister, Betty Jo Craft and her husband Roy of Willard, Mo., and one
stepbrother, Larry Crouch and his wife Rowena of Ashgrove, Mo.
The family will be at the funeral home today from 6-7 p.m. for visitation.

BURKBURNETT, Texas, Nov. 6 (1945)--Jesse Jerome Deal, 37, resident of
Burkburnett since 1923, died suddenly at his residence here Tuesday about
6:30 a.m. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the
Owens & Brumley Chapel. Rev. J. T. Strange, Baptist Minister, will
be officiate in the rites and interment will be at the Burkburnett
Cemetery. Pallbearers are to be Waler Bradley, Cecil Bradley, Doyle
Stoker, Buy Bedford, Bennie Bedford and Jim Germany.
Deal has been employed in the oil fields near here. Survivors include his
father, Tom Deal of Farmington, N. M., and an aunt, Mrs. Willie Pribble of
Burkburnett.
