Amy "Amazing Amos" Greetham 1985 ~ 2007 Amy "Amazing Amos" Greetham passed away
peacefully on the beautiful morning of October 8, 2007 following a year and a half battle with cancer. The cancer took her body but it never kept her from "shaking her booty".Amy was born June 13, 1985 in Salt Lake, Utah to Gary Greetham and Barbara Jacobs. She graduated from Kearns High School in 2003. Amy's journey has inspired many to be involved in raising money for the American Cancer Society and Primary Children's Hospital. Throughout her battle with
cancer, Amy never complained, but thanked everyone for taking care of her. Her strength and her story have touched even those who have never come in contact with her. She has been asked to give multiple speeches at charity events and was excited when asked to be the chair-person for 2008's West Jordan Relay for Life. She even received a scholarship through the American Cancer Society. Amy's goal was to give hope to others with cancer and to have people learn from her experiences. Amy, you've obtained that goal to a high magnitude and with such
grace! Amy is survived by her mother, Barbara Jacobs, father and step-mother, Gary and Allison Greetham, sisters, Shelly Owens (Jason) and Jessica Rosenlof (Nate), brother Jeremy Adams, niece, Kylee Beckstead, nephew Kade, best friend Jake Russell, grandparents, Jon and Marilyn Richins, Gayle and Joy Greetham, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She has a great love for her family and we love her more than words can say. We love, because we were loved. The family would like to thank the ICS team at Primary Childrens, the Huntsman Group, and her home nurse Raegan. A special thank you to Dr. Phil Barnette for giving us two more years with her. A Celebration of Life will be held Fri. October 12, 2007 at 12 Noon at the Gathering Place at 1100 W. 7800 S. Midvale, Utah.
