AMERICAN FORK

The Mayor and City Physician of American Fork have issued a signed statement denying the charge that there has been a failure to enforce the quarantine regulations with regard to smallpox and declaring that the few cases of the disease in the town are of a very mild type.

PROVO

Suit was filed yesterday in the District court in Provo by David N. Adamson of Pleasant Grove against William Crooks of Pleasant Grove against William Crooks, as principal, and William Mathews and James Crooks as sureties, all of American Fork, to collect $4,200 which plaintiff alleges is due him by reason of defendant William Crooks's failure to deliver to plaintiff 1,400 head of sheep which defendant leased from plaintiff in October 1900 and which were to be redelivered to plaintiff on October 5, 1902.
