Welcome to Franklin County, Virginia       A Proud Member of the Genealogy Trails Group Obits RETURN January 6, 1925 - "The Bee", Danville, VA DEATH OF GEORGE PARKER News was received here this morning of the death new Snow Creek of George Parker last night, at the age of 84 years. Death is said to have been hastened as result of a fall Mr. Parker had about a month ago. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. V.W. Jefferson of this city; Mrs. S.W. Thompson and Miss Ella Parker, of Snow Creek. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the residence, the services to be conducted by Rev. W.E. Clark.
