Tait, Charles -- Oct. 7, 1835 – In Alabama, Charles Tait, in his 68th year. He was born in Louisa county, but removed at an early age to Georgia, where he was, for several years, a judge of the Superior Court, and a senator in Congress, from 1809 to 1819.
