This Deed made and entered into this 1 July 1910, Between JNO R. HAMMOCK and LUCY P. HAMMOCK his wife of the first part, and ROBERT H. WIMM of the second part All parties of the County of Nottoway and State of Virginia Witnesseth That for and in Consideration of the sum of $250.00 paid and secured to be paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, said party of the first doth hereby give, grant, bargain, sell and convey to and unto the said party of the second part with special warranty of title, all of that certain lot-tract or parcel of land containing Twenty 20 acres, more or less lying and being in the County of Nottoway State of Virginia and bounded as follows to-wit On the North by RODERICK HOLMES on the West-by DR. GEO. RAY on the South by N. I. JACKSON and on the East by Rocky Ford Road being the same land conveyed to J. R. HAMMOCK from E. M. JONES Trustee by deed dated 4 June 1910 and second in Nottoway Clerks Office 7 June 1910, in Deed Book 27, Page 545.

State of Virginia, Nottoway County to-wit: I, R. T. JONES, a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid in the State of Virginia do certify that J. R. HAMMOCK and Mrs. LUCY P. HAMMOCK, his wife, whose names are signed to the above writing dated 1 July 1910, have acknowledged the same before me in my county aforesaid. ROBERT H. WINN & KATE L. WINN his wife to E. M. JONES Trustee

This Deed of Trust made and entered into this 1 July 1910 by and between ROBERT H. WINN & KATE L. WINN his wife of the first part to E. M. JONES Trustee of the second part all parties of the County of Nottoway and State of Virginia.

Witnesseth that the said part of the first part doth grant and convey to E. M. JONES Trustee the following described and lying and being in Nottoway County Va, and being the same land conveyed to ROBERT H. WINN by J. R. HAMMOCK & wife by deed dated 1 July 1910, all of that certain lot tract or parcel of land containing Twenty (20) acres more or less lying and being in the County of Nottoway State of Virginia, and bounded as follows to-wit. On the North by RODERICK HOLMES, on the west by DR. GEO RAY - On the South by N. J. JACKSON and on the East by Rock Ford Road.

In Trust to secure the payment of $200.00 divided into notes of $50 each and pay over 1-2-3&4 each with 6 per cent interest from date said notes are drawn by ROBERT H. WINN & KATE L. WINN his wife for $50.00 pay over to J. R. HAMMOCK with 6 percent interest on each note from 1 July 1910, as evidenced by said notes, payable at Citizens Bank at Blackstone Va And it is convenented between the parties that in default of the payment of any one of said notes and interest, J. R. HAMMOCK or the legal holder of said notes when done - the said Holder of said notes shall give the Trustee notice of same and require said land sold for achs, and the said Trustee shall give legal notice of time and place and sell said land by public sale and pay all of the notes that are then not paid with 6 percent interest and all costs attending sale & balance, if my as the said WINN may direct. Nottoway County, Virginia, Deed Book, 77, Page 478, Dated 5 Feb 1935, Recorded 20 Oct 1936

This deed, made and entered into this 5th day of February, 1935, by and between E. L. Pettus and Fannie C. Pettus, his wife, parties of the first part, and L. W. Breedlove, party of the second part:

Witnesseth: That, for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and Twenty-Five Dollars ($225.00) cash in hand paid, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, before the signing, sealing and delivery of these presents, the said parties of the first part do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell and convey, with General Warranty of Title, to and unto the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all of that certain piece or parcel of land, together with all rights, buildings, privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging, located, lying and being in Bellefonte Magisterial District, in the County of Nottoway, and State of Virginia, containing Fifteen (15) acres, more or less, but the said property is old in gross and as a plot of land not by the acre, bounded and described as follows: On the Northwest by the lands of J. R. Hammock, now occupied by said L. W. Breedlove, on the Northeast by the lands of E. L. Pettus, now occupied by _ Horton, on the Southeast by the lands of Burwell Cousins, on the Southwest by the lands of the Citizens Bank & Trust Company. _ Bader and _ Stewart, the Northeast corner where said property joins the lands of J. R. Hammock is marked by a black gum tree, thence in a southeasterly direction, in a straight line, to a stake on a branch marking the corner of Burwell Cousins and the lands of E. L. Pettus now occupied by Horton, thence in a straight line along the said branch to a sweet gum tree., thence in a straight line in a Northwesterly direction along the said Hammock boundary to a black gum at the point of beginning, this being a part of the property conveyed to H. S. Draucker by the Supervisors of Nottoway County by deed dated April 28, 1920, recorded in the Circuit Court Clerk's Office of Nottoway County in Deed Book 53, page 557, and by the said H. S. Draucker and wife and W. I. Jones and wife deeded to E. L. Pettus by deed dated April 28, 1924, and recorded in said Clerk's Office in Deed Book 62, page 129, being 15 acres of what is known as the Poor House Farm.

Parties of the first part covenant that they have a perfect right to make and execute this deed; that they have done no act whatsoever to incumber the property herein conveyed; that the party of the second part, his heirs or assigns, shall have quiet and peaceful possession thereof, free from encumbrance of interference, and that they stand ready to make and execute such other and further assurances as may be requisite.

State of Virginia, County of Nottoway, to-wit: I, S. L. Barrow, a notary public in and for the County of Nottoway, in the State of Virginia do hereby certify that E. L. Pettus and Fannie C. Pettus, his wife, whose names are signed to the foregoing and annexed writing, bearing date on the 5th day of February, 1935, have personally appeared before me, in my county aforesaid and acknowledged the same. My commission expires on the 16th day of July 1938. Given under my hand this 9th day of February 1935. S. L. Barrow, Notary Public.

In Nottoway Circuit Court Clerk's Office, October 20th, 1936. The foregoing Deed was this day filed in said office, and with the annexed certificates admitted to record at 12 M. Revenue stamps amounting to a $.50 affixed and canceled according to law. J. H. Irby, Clerk.
