I, John Dellere, do hereby subscribe and state, that the facts given as
follows are true and correct, according to my own
knowledge and belief: That my father died about
eight years ago and that my mother died during the last
years of the war, the time of her death being unknown to
me, on account of stoppage of all communications from
foreign countries during the war;
That I have two married sisters, both of whom live in France, and whose
husbands served in the French army; but that the husband
of one was killed during the first years of the war, and
the husband of the other is still classed as "among the
missing";
That I have one brother in Luxemburg, who also served in the French army,
but to whom, according to customs and provisions and all
matters ruling family estates in that country, my
presence is absolute necessary, especially in view of
the fact that I have to personally consent and affirm to
all deals, sales or any other matters arising out of the
closing of our parents estate;
That both my sisters have young children who have to be cared for,
educated and otherwise properly provided for, and that
it is essential that the estate be settled in order that
they may receive their portions of same, to be used to
this end.
