Woman Flying
Student Killed in Plane Crash.
Port Angeles-A woman flying student was killed and her instructor
injured early Saturday in the crash of a small two place plane at
the end of the Clallam county airport runway.
Mrs. Marjorie Krogness, about 30, of nearby Carlsborg,
was killed as the plane nose-dived while apparently coming in for a
landing at about 7 a.m. Roy Kemp, 35, the pilot instructor, escaped
without critical injuries, according to the hospital report.
Mrs. Krogness was the former Marjorie Taylor of Monroe.
