H.N. Pringle, of Dayton, Washington
Territory, who is a brother of Norman Pringle, sends us
a copy of the Democratic State Journal, of Dayton, which
devotes considerable space to a write up of the town and
territory. Mr. Pringle is at the head of the firm of H.N.
Pringle & Co., proprietors of the Columbia Machine Works
at Dayton. |
| In the years when Washington
was still a territory, the Democratic State Journal,
published at Dayton, chronicled each week the momentous
and the trifling news of the day. Often it was sharply
personal; frequently it was colorful. Across the gap of
74 years, it is interesting.....
