Parkinson, of the Port of Entry Times, of a large map of Port Townsend, Washington Territory, showing the city, additions and suburbs, as well as the water front, docks, etc. If the town is half as nice as it appears on paper, it must be a delightful place to live.

Douglas McLarney is Engaged
A recent issue of the Great Falls, Montana, Tribune carried the announcement of
the engagement of Miss Betty Marsh, daughter of Mrs. Miles L. Marsh of Great
Falls, to Douglas J. McLarney, Jr. of Port Townsend and Seattle, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Douglas J. McLarney.
The wedding will take place in the summer it was announced.
Miss Marsh is a senior at the University of Montana at Missoula. Mr. McLarney,
graduate of the Port Townsend high school and formerly connected with the U. S.
Weather Bureau here, is now employed at the Port of Embarkation, Seattle. (©Marla Snow)

McLarney to San Diego
Word was received from the Seattle recruiting station that Douglas J. McLarney,
Jr. of Port Townsend was sent to the Marine Corps Case, San Diego, for recruit
training, following his enlistment in the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve. Before his
enlistment he was employed by the U. S. Army transport division at the Seattle
Port of Embarkation. McLarney was recently married. His wife is attending the
University of Montana and resides at Great Falls. (©Marla Snow)
