Mrs. John Fleet, of Mt. Vernon, Wash., arrived here last Saturday afternoon for an extended visit with her brothers, the several Porters in the town of Plover, and also sisters and other relatives. Mrs. Fleet's maiden name was Miss Mary Porter, she being a former resident of this county, but left for the west thirty years ago and had not been back since.
Mrs. John Fleet, who was supposed to arrive here from Mt. Vernon, Wash., as announced on the second page of this issue, was taken ill while preparing to start, but hopes to come later, as announced on a card received by her brother, John Porter of Plover.
