BLAINE
Walker Blaine, son of Jas. G. Blaine, died in Washington, last Wednesday.

EDWARD
Suicide of Francis C. Edwards  
Washington, Feb. 12 Francis Cockerill Edwards fatally shot himself yesterday in the Hillman house. Despondency resulting from an unsuccessful business trip to Alaska is said to have been the cause. He was a nephew of the late Judge Waller Edwards of Missouri, and a son of James F. Edwards, a Senate employe, who is from Forestol, near St. Louis.

KENNEDY

Died

In Victoria, V. I., Hon. J. S. Kennedy, member of the House of Assembly from Nanaimo.  Dr. Kennedy was one of the earliest pioneers of British America on the Pacific, having been connected with the Hudson Bay Co., as surgeon for upwards of twenty years, and served at Fort Vancouver, Nisqually, and Fort Simpson at different times.

STOCKWELL

Mrs. Ira P. Stockwell, of Sydney, W.T., was accidentally killed last week by her 14-year-old son, who was inserting a badly fitting cartridge in his gun.
