CHARLES E. WATKINS
Redfield—The funeral service for Charles E. Watkins, 83, who died Friday at the Community Memorial Hospital, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Bryson Funeral Home with the Rev. Gustav VanTassel officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Watkins, a retired blacksmith, had been a resident of Redfield 12 years. He came from Grantsburg, Wis. He was born Oct. 14, 1880, at Potomac, Ill., and married Leona Harmon at Canistota, Nov. 23, 1907.
Survivors include one foster daughter, Dorothy, Mrs. Woodrow
Gardner, Redfield; one brother, Jesse Watkins, Madison; seven
grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren
