KEWAUNEE, a village and the
capital of Kewaunee County, eastern Wisconsin, on Lake Michigan, at the outlet of Kewaunee River, on the Green
Bay, Winona and St. Paul railroad, 26 miles E. of Green Bay. It contains a saw-mill, foundry, flour-mills, a pearl-button
factory, machine-shop, furniture factory, and has a large trade in wheat and lumber. Population 1900, 1,773.
