JANUARY

9- Street car collides with auto at Forest Purinton, Albany; 1 hurt. St. Paul engine derailed at Avalon

13- Gwendolyn Caselin, age 2, Magnolia, badly burned falling into a pail of hot water

22- Joseph Hanasuka, 10, hurt in coasting accident

22- Phillip Lichtenberger, Beloit, suicide by poison

24- Hans Ona, Cooksville, suicide by hanging


FEBRUARY:

8- Leon Burdick breaks collar bone at Parker Pen plant.

13- George Nelson, Operator of Farm Bureau limestone crusher, hurt in blasting accident

23- Dr. Francis I. Drake suspended as head of Mendota hospital result of treatment accorded Louden Heenan, 24, Janesville, who died Feb. 21

27- Ward Bros. truck hit by St. Paul train at Galena Street


MARCH

1- Calvin Sturtvant, 7, Leyden, knocked from a horse by a truck and badly bruised

7- Jay Fish, Racine, former resident, seriously hurt by contents of coal wagon falling on him

7- Mrs. Martin Lein, 52, falls on icy street and receives a compound fracture of left arm

19- Charles P. Church, 80, a former resident of Afton, was burned to death in Oregon state.

20- Gilbert Cochrane, 11, struck by an auto and leg broken

24- Mrs. F. F. Lewis fell and broke her hip in Gulfport, Miss.


APRIL

1- Mrs. V. W. Kanpp and a 6 yr old child injured in an auto accident on Beloit Rd

2- Ferdinand Rupnow, section hand, instantly killed while working on track

14- Michael Green had leg broken when his motorcycle collided with a sedan

12- Mrs. Fred Hampfell received a double fracture of her leg. Nicholas Fredendall badlt burned by blazing gasoline

30- Fred Millard, Fort Atkinson, permanently blinded by dynamite exploding
