Andrew F. Hanneman (2 Dec. 1903 – 23 July 1976)

* Andrew F. Hanneman, 72, Rt. 2 Wisconsin Rapids, town of Saratoga, died at 5:45 a.m. this morning at Riverview Hospital of a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, at St. John's Lutheran Church. Kellner, the Rev. Donald O. Wesener officiating, with burial in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Hanneman was born December 2, 1903, in the town of Grant in Portage county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hanneman. On October 6, 1927, he married Leona Rickhoff in Kellner. He was employed by the Chicago North Western railroad for 45 years before retiring in 1968.

Survivors include his wife Leona, two sons, Ronald A., Nekoosa, Roger D., Rhinelander; one brother, Edward Hanneman, Kellner; 11 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.

Friends may call at Taylor Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, until 11 30 a.m. on Monday, and at the church from noon until time of services.

* Mrs. Henry Hanneman, 57, Wisconsin Rapids, a former Marshfield resident, died unexpectedly at 2:45 a.m. today at her home. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed Church with the Rev. Elmer Becker officiating. Richard D. Hanneman, 79, of Marshfield died Sunday at his home.

Visitations will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Rembs Funeral Home with a private family prayer service to follow. He will be entombed in Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.

Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Richard was born Nov. 3, 1929, in Wausau to Wilbert and Irma (Pagel) Hanneman.

He was united in marriage to Leonor A. Nikolai on June 13, 1953, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield. They were later divorced.

Richard was instrumental in organizing amateur radio club in Marshfield and presently the editor of Polka Potpourri on Public Access Television. He was employed at Weyerhaeuser Company as a maintenance supervisor for more than 25 years. After his retirement, he worked seasonally at Figi's.

Richard enjoyed taking Dolores Polege dancing on weekends in central Wisconsin.

He is survived by a son, Ronald Hanneman, and two daughters, Virginia and Kathleen Hanneman, all of Marshfield; and a sister, Lynn Zarnke of Mountain Home, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
