The 1890 Vetertan's Census is predominantely a census of Civil War Veterans and is the best source for census data due to the 1890 United States' Federal Census being destroyed by fire. The census provides the dwelling number, family number, veteran's name, rank, company, regiment, enlsitment date, discharge date, length of service, local post office, disability and any remarks.
