Gleville Normal School
The fall term of this school for the year 1881 will commence on Monday, September 12th. the school has been in operation since 1873. The building is well adapted to educational purposes, and supplied with every facility for thorough instruction in the branches taught, and situated as it is in the midst of a healthy and fertile country, the inhabitants of which are fully identified with the educational advancement of the sge it is confidently expected that the coming session will be one of great prosperity. Glenville is the county seat of Gilmer county. It has many natural advantages and is in every way fit to be seat of the educational institution such as the Normal School. the town is comparatively easy to access, being connected by a regular hack line with the town of Weston, a railway terminus. It may also be easly reached from other railroads stations by means of private conveyances. The school  will be in charge of Prof. S. P. Leazear,. a West Virginia graduate, who is well qualified to impart through instruction in every branch which students may wish to pursue. Glenville State Normal School
To Teach Music In Normal - Miss May E. Taylor has accepted the position as head of the music department in the Glenville State Normal at Glenville, West Virginia, and will leave next Tuesday to begin her work there.
