A little twenty-months old daughter of Mr. P. F. Swisher,
of Mill Brook, Hampshire county, met with a sad and fatal accident on the 12th instant. While she was for a moment
alone in the room, by some means her clothing took fire from the stove. Her little brother heard her cries and
went into the room to find herin a blaze, He gave the alarm but before the flames were extinguished she was so
badly burned about the body, arms and face that she died in thirty-six hours thereafter. [The
