Located on Legg Fork Rd. in Poca District, Kanawha Co. To get there drive north of Charleston on I-77 to the Pocatalico exit, turn right towards Pocatalico. Legg Fork Rd. is a short distance up the road on the left. Turn left on Legg Fork Rd. & go .9 mile to a dirt ? on the left that goes to the top of the hill. This road is rough but passable when dry. The RANSON section is closer to the road & is fenced & n?. The PETERS section is at the opposite end of the clearing badly overgrown with most of the headstones flush to the ground & difficult to locate. I may not have located all of the headstones in this section. Also a number of graves in this section were marked with fieldstones & I did not attempt to count all of them.
The 2 families farms adjoining and the RANSONs were white & the PETERS & HASTONs were black.
Recorded by Richard F. LEGG, 28 ___1987.
