Ruth writes: "Will you please post this picture to your unknown picture site?. The picture is of a young girl that I found in my mother's belonging after she died. On the back of the picture are the words "to Mother". My mother was the younger child of a second marriage. There were six half siblings and five of them, I did not know about.
I think this picture might be a half sister to my mother but have no proof. If I am correct this girl was born in Kanawha County between 1885 and 1889. The surname would be MORRIS.
Since I am the only girl to my mother's marriage, I think the picture was meant for my Grandmother and my mother hung on to it after my grandmother died.."
