Dollie Bowlings
On last Thursday, in Slab Fork District, Raleigh county, Dollie, little daughter, about 7 years old, of George Bowlings, caught her dress on fire and was burned so badly that she died, in about three hours afterwards. Killed by Fall of Slate
Quin Jones, colored, 54 years of age, was instantly killed by being crushed under a heavy fall of slate in the Mabscott mines on Wednesday evening of last week, his neck, one arm and a leg having been broken by the weight of the slate under which he was buried.
