Correspondence Leads to
Marriage. Young Couple Who Had Never Met Before are Wedded
at Sistersville. Sistersville, W. Va., Jan. 20.--Special
Telegram.--The principals in a wedding which was
solemnized here last night were William
Bryant, of Wyoming and Miss Jane
McCoy, of this city. Each is 23 years old, and they
never met before yesterday, when Mr. Bryant arrived in this
city. The young people were introduced by mutual friends by
mail, three years ago, as persons who would likely find
correspondence agreeable. They kept the correspondence up,
exchanged photographs, became engaged and fixed the wedding
day without having ever seen each other. Tomorrow they start
for Mr. Bryant's Western home. ~ The Daily Inter Ocean ~ January 21, 1895
