West Virginia 1896 Marriages
Two Handsome Weddings At
Sistersville Yesterday Afternoon. Sistersville, W. Va.,
June 24--The swellest marriage ever performd in this city took place
at high noon to-day. Rev. T. A. Anderson married
Grace Elmyra Barbour to F. Richard
Cowell, at the Cowell, at the bride's beautiful home on
Brown Betty street. The home was beautifully decorated with potted
plants and flowers. Only a few very intimate friends were present.
Many costly and handsome presents were bestowed upon the happy pair,
who left on the 1:17 train for a honeymoon tour through the
East.
Miss Anna Williamson and Will
Ashin were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony to-day at
the bride's home. The wedding was very pretty and the presents which
were given were many and costly.
