These tribes occupied the land now known as "Wyoming" at one time or another:

*The Arapaho tribe*

*The Cheyenne tribe*

*The Crow tribe*

*The Shoshone tribe*

*The Ute tribe*

Today, the Shoshone and Arapaho tribes are the only two federally recognized Indian tribes in Wyoming. They share the Wind River Reservation in Fort Washakie, WY

Source of map is "Native Languages of the Americas" http://www.native-languages.org/wyoming.htm

They warn that the map is by necessity, vague. Boundary lines changed frequently over time due to many factors, so this map should not be depended upon as the only tool used by the researcher.
