Dear cousin Albert I  just received your  letter yesterday and surely was ylad that you decided to answer my letter at last,   I was getting afraid that  I had wrote to much in my letter.

So you were suprised to here that Leona and Jimmy got married "  I wasn't" And if you were so greatly surprised you will be more so when I  tell you that Lula and Fulton were married at Harrison on the 13th.  Leona and Jimmy were their witnesses. They were made to dance to the music last night.  I don't know how many there were but I should think about thirty people though.

But you see you were mistaken in the person that were going to et married,  all  though it was in the family.  But  I am surprised to think that you forgot that I can't get married until next Aug if I want to keep my homestead and I sure do.

I suppose that  I should let Grandma and the rest know that Lula got married.    But I have been so busy lately,   for you see I am working or just helping Mrs. C.C. Williams.

You should just see the pictures  I have painted.   I  am so pleased being I can't get to go to school  " I hardly will  get to go I am sure now" Papa didn't make the trade for the tractor and so we still have the horses you see.

I don't know yet what  I will do Thanksgiving.  But  if you can if you come home their,  try and come up and see your known cousin.  Ha! Ha!

I guess  I will  ring off now for I  can't think of much of any thing to write today.  But I hope you have good luck in your studies.  Answer soon .

Your Coz. Bell A.

Dear cousin Albert I  just came back from my homestead last night.  Lula and Fulty took me over in Calhoun's car to stay over night on my claim before my time is up.   (It is up tonight.)  Earl, Papa and Mamma are going to stay and come back tomorrow,  if they can you see they went over in that old Ford truck and it isn't  the best thing in the world to travel,  at least  I don't think so.

You couldn't guess in a thousand years what  I named my ranch so I will  tell  you.  (  Look Out Ranch)  Don't that beat the Dutch ? Ha! Ha!    The reason I named it that is because you sure will have to keep a close look-cut if you ever find my shant,  and if you get on some parts of  the place you have to look out that you don't get a might high fall.  Two mighty good reasons for naming it that don't you think so ?

How has school been latly ?    Mable missed yesterday and today.    Yesterday her excuse was she had to help Leona some, being Lula was gone.    And this morning I  couldn't get her up in time. Being it was Friday I didn't care so much.    And after she did get up I had her help me with the washing,  and the other work.  She is planning on writing you a letter too.

Say Albert we took some pictures while I was out to the ranch this last time,  and when you come up I will  show them to you.  When do you think you will  be up ?

There is to be a dance here a week from tomorrow night, so I heard,  but I didn't hear of what music they were planing on though.   We sure had a lovely time last Saturday night here in Van Tassel 1  to a dance, although the music wasn't extraly. But such a jolly crowd.   ( One of my old fellows was there (Bert's cousins)  Luther Mi ley)  we sure had a good time you bet.

And Sunday afternoon Dick Garreston took me  , Mable, Elanch Calhoun and a chum of his out in his  jigney for a twenty-four mile ride.   Say you forgot to ask how I  like to be Mrs. Garreston didn't you ? Ha!  Ha!  I don't think that  I  am in any hurry. I haven't quite decided as yet you know.   I haven't saw Mr. Foot since that dance I wrote you about and so I have almost forgot him by now.    And he isn't the fellow that  I was descripting to you and Russell  either that night,  but I won't tell  you though who it was .

There is a dance out to John Simesons  (  about seven miles north west from here) And I am going out there if  I get a good chance,  it is to be tomorrow night,  and so I won't have to wait very long to find out  , will  I ? So I guess I told you enough for this time so  I'll  stop this scribbling and get my cloths in out of this wind.  Answer at your first  leisure time.

Your Coz. Bell

P.S.   I haven't heard from Red since I came to town this time don't you think I should send him if he does write back.

Wouldn't  that be a good on him though.  Ha! Ha!

Dear Albert

The boys were telling me that you were working for Coffee's. Ar you ? Are you kept pretty busy ? Not so busy you won't have time to write me once in a while.   But  I suppose it keeps you pretty busy writing to Fern.  Am I not right ?

Mr.   and Mrs.  Sam Erlewine went  to Siebkins Sale  today but Mama came down to help me out some with the work here at the resturant. But  I  have to do the waiting tables.  A job I don't 1 ike very wel1.

You must  excuse all mistakes but papa said he wanted me to write and tell  you that Mr.  Stewart Sides said he would lake $150.00  for the horse that Jimmy Roberts  rode at Harrison. I suppose you will   remember that he  is quite a horse.     And Papa said maybe you would like to have a horse like it  for  to just ride at Fairs.     I don't know but what it is a good idea. Papa said he won't wonder but what there is a good many would buy him if they knew that he was for sale.

When do you.think you will  get up to Van Tassell  again ? 1 hope before  long.   We had quite a nice time here last Saturday evening.  And there is to be a dance again this Saturday night. I sure wish you could come up too.    If you find any time now be sure and drop me a few lines often.

As ever Your Cousin Bell Adams
