Dear Cousin Albert I received your letter a long time ago. And was sure glad to here from you. Sure was glad to see those pictures. I thought that those pictures were very good. Why didn't Grandma take her picture. We would like to see how she looks.
I am writing two letters tonight. Yes papa he-is got his corn out. We was shelling corn today. Our neighbor was shelling corn. Papa has got all his hay hauling up alright. We are getting ready for spring. I am getting ready for spring to.
I am not going to school this year. But George, Rosie and Mable are all going to school.
None of us wern't sick all winter. Well what are you doing the winter ? What are your folks doing ? I suppose getting ready for spring. How,are you getting along and how are all the other folks doing. I am sure fine. I wasn't sick all winter. All the rest of the folks are fine too.
Are there any dances around there ? There wasn't very many dances around here this winter. Was you to any dances ? I wasn't to very many either.
Well I think I will close for this time. So good by. Answersoon.

Dear cousin Albert We haven't heard from you for some time , and so I thought I would drop you a few lines anyway, as I want you to know it is going to be a Mask Dance ( Have you ever seen one ?) this next Saturday night. And Mable is wondering if you would let her use your boots, as she needs a pair in her making up for that night. You can just almost know how she is planning on dressing can't you ? I don't believe I will Mask myself but I am planning on watching them. I think it would be a great deal of fun just to watch and see how many different customs are used. It is so hard to tell if you are Masked yourself. Are you expecting to come up and will Fern come too ?
Mamma, Papa, and Earl came home Sunday night, they arrived at midnight.
Tomorrow - is painting day again, and so I guess I will go and start another picture, as we have a nice lot of cardboard to use up for such work.
I suppose you took notice in your last Van Tassel 1 Booster that Wards girl is now working at the hotel here.
I got a letter from Lawrence , Grandma and Red the other day and another from Red today, so I am pretty posted on the doings at 33 Ranch. So do Albert, let us know if you are coming up Saturday morn.

Dear Albert
How be you today. I am fine. I will write you a line to tell you I am still going around on two feet. How is every little thing in Chadron ?
There is going to be a dance here a week from tomorrow night. I will write and tell you who's going to play. I do not know now, but I will find out.
Bell wrote you a letter today. How is your girl making it down there now ? Tell her to write to me will you. I am going to a dance tomorrow night if I can and so is Bell. Bell was over to her place this week.
If you want me to write any more you will have to write and tell me something, you see so I will close for this time.
