Francis Edward Petty, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Norman Petty, died Jul 28, aged three months. The neighbors and friends extend their heartfelt sympathies to the parents in their time of sorrow. "He was not given, he was only lent, a bud on earth to bloom in Heaven.

 

 LAST RITES SUNDAY FOR N.H. PETTY, 77

    Funeral services were held Sunday at the assembly of God church for Norman Hamilton Petty    7, Who died Friday after a extended illness. Services were conducted by Rev. E.R. Burry, pastor.

   Petty was born December 25,1863, in Illinios. On September 2,1892 he was married to Anna Lozier at Beloit, Kansas, and to this union five children were born.

    The family moved to Newcastle in 1909 and has resided here since that time, and for many years Petty was engaged in the plumbing business.

   He was proceeded in death by a son Francis Edward Petty and one daughter, both of whom died at a early age.

   Beside his wife, he is survived by one brother, Logan Petty of Topeka, Kansas one son, Lawrence Hamilton Petty of Newcastle; and two daughters Mrs Francis Barnes of Ogallala, Nebraska and Linnie Petty of Newcastle; eight Grandchildren. and a host of other relatives.

 Arrangements were in charge of the Jackson Mortuary and burial was made in Greenwood cemetery.
